Elevation VS Boiling Point
For this graph you have elevation Vs boiling point. It looks like there could be a few out liars, but since they is always another close be we did not take any of them out. You can tell that the line of best fit or the trend, has a negative correlation because it has a very steep slope. So, we can conclude that this variable does affect the boiling point of water.
Room temperature VS Boiling Point With Out liar
This graph shows room temperature vs boiling point with a out liar. As you can see it is very far away form all the other points and is probably a mistake of human error. With this out liar the slope has a negative correlation, but the out liar is having a big impact on the line of best fit.
Boiling Point VS Air Temperature Without Outlair
Without the our liar this data trend has changed greatly. Now, it is almost flat with a slightly positive slope. Though, this line only has about a 1 degree diffidence and this could be the result of human error so. We conclude that since it could be human error , this variable does not affect the boiling point of water.
Volume of Water Vs Boiling Point With Out Liar
Most people who did this experiment used around the same amount of water. So, this accounts for most of the data in that blue dotted area. But, there is defiantly an out liar for the person who used 1200 ml's of water. This will defiantly affect the line of best fit for the data causing it to have more of a negative correlation.
Volume Of Water Vs Boiling Point Without Out Liar
This data is the same data as before except we took put the out liar. Before, the graph had more of a negative correlation but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Without the out liar the graph gained more of a positive slop as it did before. Even though it still looks like it has a slight negative correlation, this could be from human error and can not be used for any real conclusion since the line is basically flat. So, without the out liar it looks like this variable does not affect the boiling point of water.
Type of Heating Device
Types of heating device. As you can tell by the bar graph that the water took the fastest to boil with the Bunsen burner. It took the longest to boil with you used other things besides the hot plate and the Bunsen burner.
